Job summary

HRBS Global is seeking a Head of Electrical Engineering in Kinshasa, DR Congo. You will lead a multidisciplinary team through design, tendering and commissioning for grid, industrial and MEP projects, ensuring safety, compliance and value for clients.

You will drive engineering governance, risk management and client coordination, while delivering high-quality designs and on-schedule handovers. A senior professional with extensive experience in substations, protection and control is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level electrical engineering degree required; postgraduate registration an advantage.
• Proven tendering and project delivery experience.
• Strong leadership and client liaison capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concept, tender and detailed engineering for MV/LV substations, switchgear and electrical panels.
• Interface with utilities, clients and internal teams to ensure design be safe, compliant and buildable.
• Lead engineering for grid/utility, industrial and factory commissioning from design through handover.
• Provide technical oversight for design documentation, cost estimates and change control.
