Job summary

Global Rescue is seeking an Associate Software Architect in Islamabad to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure software systems. You will guide the engineering team, write production code, and set architecture standards to align with business goals and performance needs.

You will mentor engineers, review code, define CI/CD practices, and ensure high availability, resilience, and compliance across services and platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with 3+ years in architecture or technical leadership.
• Hands-on with Java, Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, Spring AOP, and Angular/TypeScript.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, WebSockets, queues (SQS/RabbitMQ/Kafka), IoT (MQTT), and IDP like Keycloak with OIDC/SAML.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise architecture across applications, microservices, integrations, and data platforms.
• Evaluate tech stacks and platforms to meet long-term strategy and security.
• Provide hands-on leadership by building services, frameworks, and complex components.
