Job summary

Smart Working is seeking a Senior Backend-Heavy Full-Stack Engineer to own backend development for the SmartEarn platform integration, working with Node.js and TypeScript APIs and real-time transaction tracking. You’ll engage in end-to-end product ownership, supporting React Native interfaces and a Next.js Business Portal.

Qualifications

• 6+ years building backend APIs and business logic with TS/Node/Express
• 4+ years delivering API integrations via REST, Webhooks, async/event-driven
• 5+ years focusing on scalability, reconciliation and idempotency for financial data
• 2+ years supporting mobile/frontend with React Native
• 3+ years SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and microservices
• 2+ years Next.js or React for full-stack work
• 3+ years CI/CD and cloud delivery with Docker and GitHub Actions

Responsibilities

• Develop backend endpoints for SmartEarn API integration.
• Test and stage integration in VDX sandbox.
• Manage reward lifecycle states (Pending, Approved, Refunded, Cancelled).
• Calculate reward values using commission data.
• Implement real-time transaction tracking and user notifications.
• Build backend APIs and business logic with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Support React Native rewards UI and Next.js Business Portal as needed.
• Design scalable solutions for reconciliation and idempotent processing.
