Job description

Aspen Group, a US-based company, is looking to establish several ventures in the South & Central Asian region to drive digitalization in the B2B market. Initially, we are establishing the organizational structure in Pakistan under the name Cbeyond Private Limited to oversee platform development, product development, marketing, and other supporting functions.

Within the platform development group, we are seeking senior full-stack developers proficient in PHP and React. These leaders will guide the team in developing the end-to-end platform architecture and development. The platform aims to connect buyers and suppliers through an intelligent B2B solution that digitalizes procurement, offering an ecosystem for purchasing supplies via an eCommerce platform and enabling automation of the entire process.

The candidate will manage both front-end and back-end development, develop and deliver a technical roadmap, and build or integrate products and platforms that balance speed to market, scalability, and differentiation. They will take end-to-end responsibility for the product, from technology selection to architecture design and timely delivery.

Applicants should have a broad understanding of open-source software/tools and be able to evaluate their use within the platform architecture. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required, along with 4 to 7 years of experience in PHP development, preferably with a startup or product-based company. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and have a strong technological background.

Job Specification

PHP Skills:

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Yii, etc.)
• Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
• High-level understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
• Understanding fundamental design principles for scalable applications
• User authentication and authorization across multiple systems and environments
