Job summary

HR POD Careers seeks a senior front-end engineer to help evolve the flagship Console product. You will collaborate with product, design, and back-end teams to implement enhancements, own architectural decisions, and drive maintainable solutions.

You will independently identify improvements, tackle ambiguous problems, and contribute to RFCs and technical documentation. The role emphasizes scalable practices and active cross-functional engagement.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern front-end development.
• Ability to work on ambiguous problems and independently determine solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to document technical concepts.
• Experience writing or contributing to RFCs, design documents, or similar materials.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end engineers to implement enhancements and develop new features for the flagship Console product.
• Take ownership of strategic technical and architectural decisions related to front-end development.
• Independently identify, evaluate, and propose improvements that can drive product growth and increase productivity.
• Analyze ambiguous problems, break them down systematically, and develop high-quality, maintainable solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Marketing, Developer Relations, and Growth Marketing, to address front-end development needs.
• Build front-end experiences for product demos, open-source projects, marketing materials, and other related initiatives.
• Contribute to technical RFCs, design documents, and other written documentation to clearly communicate technical decisions and solutions.
• Help establish and maintain engineering practices and standards that support scalability and long-term product development.
• Take initiative in identifying technical and product challenges and work with relevant teams to prioritize and solve them.
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture as the company continues to grow.
