Smart Working is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build and enhance secure admin portals and dashboards using React, TypeScript and Next.js. You will collaborate across backend integrations and cloud technologies to ensure reliable, production-ready applications.

You will join a small team, take ownership of technical challenges, and contribute to deployment practices while growing your skills and impacting the platform's maturity in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Native Next.js development including App Router and server components.
• Experience building admin portals and dashboards.
• Hands-on testing with Vitest, RTL and Playwright.
• CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions; GitLab CI/Jenkins considered.
• Docker and AWS for deployment and delivery.
• Independent deployment and production issue resolution.
• Frontend-backend integration with APIs and services.
• Strong problem-solving and proactive, independent work.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure admin portals and dashboards with React/TypeScript/Next.js.
• Develop Next.js apps using App Router, server components, middleware, API routes.
• Implement server-side authentication and RBAC enhancements.
• Create automated frontend tests (Vitest, RTL, Playwright).
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments with GitHub Actions, Docker, AWS.
• Integrate frontend with backend APIs and services; monitor deployments.
• Identify performance, reliability and code quality improvements.
• Contribute to technical discussions and platform maturity.
• Review and validate AI-assisted code for quality.
