Smart Working is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to build secure admin portals and dashboards using React, TypeScript and Next.js. You’ll work with backend integrations and cloud technologies to ensure reliable, production-ready applications.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience building frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
• Deep experience with Next.js including App Router, server components, and middleware.
• Proven track record in admin portals and dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with frontend automated testing (Vitest, RTL, Playwright).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions; GitLab/Jenkins optional.
• Practical experience using Docker and AWS for deployment.
• Ability to independently manage frontend deployments and production issues.
• Experience integrating frontend with backend APIs and services.
• Strong problem-solving, proactivity, and ability to work in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure admin portals and dashboards using React, TypeScript and Next.js.
• Develop native Next.js applications using App Router, server components, middleware and API routes.
• Build and maintain server-side authentication functionality and support RBAC improvements.
• Create and maintain automated frontend tests using Vitest, React Testing Library and Playwright.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines, taking ownership of deployments with GitHub Actions, Docker and AWS.
• Connect frontend apps with backend APIs and services, including server-side gateways.
• Investigate and resolve deployment/infrastructure issues independently.
• Identify opportunities to improve frontend performance and code quality.
• Contribute to technical discussions and platform maturity.
