Job summary

K-Electric is seeking a proactive Finance professional to support budgeting, costing, financial control, and inventory planning for the Transformer Switchgear Workshop (TSW). You will analyze financial data, generate reports, and manage SAP budget processes to enable timely decision‑making.

Education: Professional Accountant or BBA with at least 3 years of relevant experience. You will coordinate with Procurement and business teams, review documents for compliance, and help prepare Capex, Revex,

Qualifications

• Professional Accountant or BBA with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of budgeting, costing, financial control and inventory planning.
• Familiarity with SAP budget management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and monitoring of Capex, Revex and PPE budgets for TSW.
• Prepare budget utilization, variance and trend analysis reports.
• Support project costing activities and maintain costing databases.
• Review financial documents including PR, PO, CRO for accuracy and compliance before approval.
• Coordinate with Procurement and business teams for documentation and budget tracking.
• Assist in invoice processing, accruals, and month-end closing activities.
• Perform stock coverage, consumption trend and MRP analysis for PPE inventory planning.
• Maintain SAP budget records and costing reports; generate management reports.
• Provide financial insights to support refurbishment decisions and capital investments.
• Prepare budgeted rates for TSW project costing with macroeconomics assumptions.
• Consolidate Capex & Revex annual budgets and support leadership approvals.
• Provide visibility on Annual Budget with comparative analysis for decision making.
• Act as controlling function for TSW; monitor cost trends and budgeting improvements.
• Review and approve Release Orders, SES and invoices per financial mandate.
• Periodically review ongoing contract documents with Procurement per policy.
• Review refurbishment costs of transformers to align with SOPs.
• Perform in-house P&L analysis for TSW for cost/savings insight.
