Job summary

Nysonian Inc. is seeking a Senior Expense Management Analyst to drive real-time cost optimization and disciplined expense controls across the organization, partnering with finance, procurement, and operations.

The role emphasizes policy compliance, performance analytics, and actionable cost-saving strategies to boost profitability. Based in Islamabad, this in-person position requires working hours 6pm–2am PKT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in expense management, cost analysis, FP&A, or related functions.
• Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Enforce compliance with corporate expense policies, escalating deviations for leadership review.
• Monitor and interpret operating expenses to identify cost drivers and inefficiencies.
• Conduct detailed expense audits and analyses to uncover cost reduction opportunities.
• Partner with business units to challenge spending and implement cost-optimization initiatives.
• Produce executive-level, data-driven expense reports for leadership decisions.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations to improve spending governance.
• Drive continuous improvement of expense management processes and tools.

The Opportunity

The Senior Expense Management Analyst at Nysonian Inc. is responsible for driving cost optimization and enforcing disciplined expense controls across the organization. This role goes beyond traditional finance functions, focusing on real-time oversight, policy compliance, and identifying opportunities for efficiency that directly impact profitability. Partnering closely with business units, procurement, and operations, the Analyst analyzes spending patterns, ensures accountability, and implements actionable strategies to deliver sustainable cost savings.

What You'll Own

• Enforce compliance with corporate expense policies, escalating exceptions and deviations for leadership review.
• Monitor, analyze, and interpret organizational operating expenses to identify key cost drivers, trends, and inefficiencies.
• Conduct detailed expense audits and deep-dive analyses to uncover actionable cost reduction opportunities.
• Partner with business units to challenge spending behaviors and implement targeted cost-optimization initiatives.
• Produce and deliver executive-level, data-driven expense reports that provide actionable insights for leadership decision-making.
• Collaborate with procurement and operations to enhance transparency, accountability, and governance over spending.
• Drive continuous improvement of expense management processes, reporting tools, and operational controls to maximize efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's or professional certification preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in expense management, cost analysis, FP&A, or related functions.
• Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Skilled at challenging assumptions diplomatically and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel, ERP systems, and financial analysis/reporting tools.
• Excellent communication skills with experience delivering leadership-ready reports.
• Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution under tight timelines.
