Job summary

HBL People is seeking an Enterprise Architect to lead architectural design across software, systems, and IT infrastructure in Karachi. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure technology blueprints and drive modernization initiatives.

You will partner with business and tech teams to manage risks, budgets, and timelines while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role entails governance, portfolio rationalization, and active stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Create high-level architectural blueprints for software, systems and IT infra.
• Collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to capture requirements and report progress, costs, risks.
• Analyze and select tools, platforms, and frameworks that fit enterprise IT strategy.
• Ensure designs meet security standards and industry best practices.
• Oversee integration of new tech with existing systems for seamless operation.
• Develop, maintain and enforce architecture principles, standards and policies.
• Identify, assess and manage risks from tech changes and regulatory requirements.
• Review and rationalize technology portfolio to reduce costs and complexity.
• Maintain Enterprise Architecture Repository for accuracy and accessibility.
• Develop and maintain EA Change Control Process to evolve architecture safely.
• Establish and enforce Architecture Principles and Standards.
• Lead weekly status meetings to report progress, risks, and upcoming changes.
• Create dashboards to monitor architecture compliance, project alignment and operational efficiency.
