Silicon Labs, a leader in low-power wireless connectivity, seeks a Lead Software Engineer – Embedded Firmware to advance Bluetooth firmware across Classic and BLE with audio features. You’ll work hands-on in a fast-paced environment, focusing on real-time performance in resource-constrained devices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive technical outcomes while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of embedded firmware or wireless software development.
• Strong C/C++ in real-time embedded environments.
• Hands-on Bluetooth Classic/BLE and audio-related profile experience.
• Experience with power- and memory-constrained designs and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded Bluetooth firmware for Classic and BLE.
• Implement features for Bluetooth audio, HFP, and LE Audio.
• Develop real-time, timing-critical firmware with efficient memory usage.
• Collaborate in design and code reviews, and participate in qualification activities.

The team focuses on advanced Bluetooth use cases including audio streaming, HFP calling, and LE Audio, delivering standards-compliant, efficient, and scalable solutions for Silicon Labs wireless products.The team collaborates with cross-functional engineering groups including Bluetooth stack, PHY/RF, systems, validation, and customer-facing teams across multiple global locations.The Role:Silicon Labs is seeking a Lead Software Engineer – Embedded Firmware to work on embedded Bluetooth firmware development with a focus on audio-related features across Classic and BLE.
