Job summary

Sui Southern Gas Company Limited in Karachi is seeking an Engineering Graduate (Civil) with 4+ years post-qualification experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector, to supervise small-scale construction and maintenance projects and ensure timely completion within budget.

You will design floor plans, review civil works, conduct inspections, prepare BoQs, and guide junior team members while complying with HSE standards and company policies; proficiency in AutoCAD is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering graduate with at least 4 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience preferably in Oil and Gas sector.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Project supervision of small-scale construction and maintenance within budget and quality standards.
• Design and review floor plans, seating arrangements, and civil works per regulations and standards.
• Maintenance inspections and propose repair solutions to ensure safety and functionality.
• Prepare BoQs and job estimates for construction and repair projects.
• Supervise junior engineers, technicians, and contractors daily.
• Ensure civil works comply with HSE, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Use AutoCAD 2D/3D for drafting and reviewing plans.

Job description

Engineering Graduate (Civil) or equivalent qualification with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in Oil and Gas Sector.

Responsibilities:

• Project Supervision: Supervise small-scale construction and repair/maintenance projects, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
• Design & Planning: Design and review floor plans, seating arrangements, and civil works, ensuring compliance with regulations, company standards, and HSE requirements.
• Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of facilities and recommend repair and maintenance solutions to ensure safety and functionality.
• Job Estimates: Prepare detailed BoQs, job estimates for construction and repair projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Team Supervision: Guide junior engineers, technicians, and contractors in daily tasks and provide technical support.
• Compliance & HSE: Ensure all civil works adhere to company policies, health, safety, environmental standards, and regulatory requirements.
• AutoCAD Proficiency: Use AutoCAD 2D / 3D features for drafting and reviewing floor plans, seating arrangements, and construction/maintenance plans.
• To perform additional duties as and when assigned by the HoD.
