Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a highly skilled embedded software engineer to develop drivers and software for low-power accelerator and DSP subsystems on Snapdragon platforms. You will optimize memory, performance, and power in collaboration with hardware and systems teams.

The role requires strong C programming, experience with RTOS/embedded Linux, multi-core architectures, and IPC mechanisms, with emphasis on low-level software and driver development for AI accelerators.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science or related field.
• 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience (Master's degree) or 1+ year (PhD).
• Strong embedded C programming and low-level software development experience.
• Experience with RTOS/embedded Linux, memory management and multi-core architectures.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, integrate and test embedded software for low-power accelerator and DSP subsystems.
• Develop and maintain hardware drivers for ML accelerators, including initialization, resource management, IRQs, power states and error recovery.
• Design software for multi-DSP architectures, including workload partitioning and synchronization.
• Implement IPC mechanisms and shared memory transport for inter-processor communication.
• Develop memory-management solutions including pools, shared memory, DMA handling and cache coherency.
• Analyze and optimize embedded software for latency, throughput and power consumption.
• Debug complex system-level issues with OS, drivers, firmware, and concurrency using debugging tools.
• Build unit, integration and system-level tests for embedded software and hardware drivers.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems and firmware teams on bring-up, validation and commercialization.
