Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utilities. You will work with systems, hardware, architecture, and test engineers to deliver system-level software solutions that meet performance requirements and interfaces.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of software engineering experience or a Master's/PhD with related experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Responsibilities

Applies software knowledge to design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.
Analyzes user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency.
Designs and implements software modules for products and systems.
Participates in design, coding for large features, unit testing, debugging, and integration to meet specifications and schedules.
Performs code reviews and regression tests and triages/fixes issues to ensure code quality.
Collaborates with others inside the project team to accomplish objectives.
Writes technical documentation for software projects.
