Job summary

Dawlance is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain firmware using C/C++. You will apply OO design to build scalable, modular solutions for embedded systems and optimize performance and memory usage.

The role requires Python and shell scripting for automation, participation in code reviews, and collaboration with hardware, system, testing, and validation teams across the full software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience with Embedded C/C++ development.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and design principles.
• Scripting in Python and Shell for automation and development support.
• Familiarity with Git, Gerrit, Repo and debugging tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded software using C/C++.
• Apply object-oriented design and programming principles to develop scalable solutions.
• Analyze and optimize software performance for embedded systems.
• Develop Python and Shell scripts to support development, testing, automation, and build processes.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to coding standards using Git, Gerrit, Repo.
