Job summary

Siemens AG in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking a software professional to implement DevOps/QA strategies for embedded software using modern DevOps infrastructure. You will create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and develop unit tests in C, C++, Python, and PowerShell for embedded platforms.

Position Overview

Candidate will be working on real time operating systems and virtualization solutions. In this role, you will be working on implementing the DevOps/QA strategy for embedded software using modern DevOps infrastructure and tools. Responsibilities include (but not limited to) creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Python, PowerShell and C based unit test development and test automation for embedded platforms.

Qualifications

BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 1-3 years of professional experience. Strong programming, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work optimally in fast-paced, distributed teams, and deliver high-quality results. Quick to learn, and driven by continuous improvement and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Understanding of Git based tools GitHub, GitLab etc.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies
• Experience of working in C/C++/C#, Python and PowerShell scripting
• Expertise / knowledge with any of the following technologies will be an added advantage

1. AI Tools and Terminologies
2. AI Agent Development - Knowledge of Different AI Models
3. Familiarity with Containers (Dockers etc.)
4. Experience with CI/CD Pipelines - Preferably Github actions or Gitlab pipelines
