Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the PCBA Center of Excellence in Hyderabad. You will shape electrical and embedded systems strategies, drive cost and design improvements, and ensure quality, compliance, and manufacturability across programs.

Expect governance, mentoring, and cross-functional partnerships with R&D, site engineering, and suppliers to deliver robust, validated solutions in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, electronics, or embedded systems.
• 15+ years of relevant experience in electrical/product development.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional engineering teams.
• Strong technical background in hardware design, testing, and validation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in electrical and embedded systems design.
• Lead design reviews and component selection.
• Drive cost-reduction and VAVE opportunities.
• Establish governance for PCBA design and VAVE.
• Collaborate with R&D, site engineering, and manufacturing.
• Coach and develop engineering team members.
