Job summary

Dubizzle Labs is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to ensure our services are healthy, scalable and reliable. You will work with development teams from design through production, driving automation, monitoring, and performance improvements.

You will participate in a 24x7 on-call cycle and help migrate legacy systems to modern cloud architectures. The role requires strong experience in CI/CD, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud deployments (AWS).

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent field.
AWS Solutions Architect certification.
5+ years experience in supporting hosted services in a high-volume customer-facing environment.
Experience with DevOps tools, processes, culture, distributed systems, supporting mission-critical systems.
Experience working on CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Github Actions.
Proficiency in Go, Python or Ruby, and Bash scripting.
3+ years running infrastructure at scale with Kubernetes.
Experience migrating to AWS EKS or similar.

Responsibilities

Maintain health, performance, and capacity of production environment.
Design and implement automation for large-scale operations.
Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Github Actions and Jenkins.
Collaborate with development teams on on-call and production issues.
Develop tools to monitor custom applications across a large environment.
Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, application, and network layers.
Migrate legacy applications to modern cloud infrastructure with minimal downtime.
Document system design and procedures.
