Job summary

Creative Chaos in Lahore seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage Puppet automation and cloud infrastructure. You will design, implement, and support CI/CD workflows, container orchestration, and secure, scalable environments.

You will troubleshoot Puppet Enterprise, collaborate with development teams, and ensure SLAs are met while maintaining robust security and automation across Linux systems.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar relevant field.
• 3-7 years of related experience in the professional industry.
• Hands-on with automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tooling.
• Experience with Linux distributions and cloud environments.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to SLAs as per contract.
• Lead on urgent issues and projects; coordinate staffing resources.
• Design, build, and manage engineering automation for cloud initiatives via Puppet.
• Troubleshoot Puppet Enterprise architectures; work with Linux, networking, and load balancing.
• Collaborate with development to deploy CI/CD infrastructure.
• Develop environments for QA and development; deploy apps in cloud.
• Maintain infrastructure security; ensure scalable, automated environments.
• Provide direct server support during deployments and production operations.
• Collaborate with developers to meet environment requirements and best practices.
• Design, implement, and test agreed infrastructures.
• Automate deployment of Linux apps, configs, and security settings.
• Evaluate candidates for open positions.
