Job summary

Creative Chaos is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Automation Engineer in Lahore to design, build, and manage cloud initiatives using Puppet. You will automate deployments, troubleshoot Puppet Enterprise, and support a scalable CI/CD infrastructure in collaboration with development teams.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of experience, strong Linux administration, and excellent English communication skills, with a focus on secure, reliable environments.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or similar relevant field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of related experience in the professional industry.
• Puppet scripting - experience in scripting and building automation using standard technologies such as Puppet.
• Puppet Automation - develop automation code to deploy and maintain systems and applications using orchestration tools.
• DevOps - familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tooling.
• Linux – familiarity with distributions and system administration.
• Experience with CI/CD toolchains (Kubernetes).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to SLAs as per contract.
• Take lead on urgent issues and projects, coordinating staffing as required.
• Design, build, support, and manage cloud initiatives and automation modules using Puppet.
• Troubleshoot Puppet Enterprise architectures and related Linux/Networking/Load Balancing.
• Collaborate with development to create and deploy CI/CD infrastructure.
• Develop and implement environments for QA, development, etc.
