Abacus is seeking a Senior Data Scientist/Engineer with a strong background in data science and engineering. The role involves leading data projects, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with product and engineering stakeholders to deliver scalable data pipelines and ML solutions.

You will work with large datasets, apply advanced modeling techniques, and deploy models to production while staying updated on the latest data technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, data engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience leading data projects and managing teams.
• Extensive experience with data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop and implement advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures.
• Lead data science and engineering projects from conception to deployment.
