Mobilink Bank is seeking an AVP Data Engineering at its Head Office in Islamabad to own the Medallion Data Architecture and end-to-end data pipelines that power analytics, BI and ML initiatives.

You will design, build and govern a Delta Lake on MinIO, lead ingestion with Kafka/Sqoop, and collaborate with Analytics, BI, Data Science and Compliance teams to deliver scalable, reliable data platforms and trusted datasets for business users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant data engineering/ETL experience.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on Spark/Trino experience.

Responsabilités

• Design and maintain Medallion Data Architecture (Raw → Curated → Semantic).
• Develop end-to-end data pipelines (Kafka, Sqoop, Trino, Spark).
• Automate ETL with Python/R and ensure data quality and lineage.
• Enable BI/ML readiness and Tableau reporting.
• Collaborate with Analytics, BI, Data Science, Risk and Compliance teams.
