Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with a relevant thesis in computer vision.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in Computer Vision and/or Deep Learning, including production deployment.
• Experience with CCTV or video-based datasets is required.
• Experience deploying and optimizing models on edge devices or resource-constrained environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python, with clean, scalable code for large projects.
• Deep expertise in PyTorch and solid experience with OpenCV and other CV libraries.
• Strong mathematical foundation and ability to read and evaluate research papers.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of computer vision and deep learning models for maritime CCTV environments, from research to production deployment.
• Design and improve models for continuous video analysis in real-world conditions for accuracy and scalability.
• Explore and evaluate new approaches and technologies to enhance the FleetVision platform.
• Collaborate with product, data, and operations teams to define problems and deliver AI solutions.
• Optimize models and inference pipelines for large-scale deployments and constrained environments.
• Stay current with research and apply state-of-the-art methods where they add value.
