Zones is seeking a Senior Cloud Technical Specialist to deliver advanced technical and licensing support for Microsoft cloud solutions, focusing on Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure. The role acts as a trusted advisor to partners and customers, troubleshooting incidents and guiding operations for optimal cloud performance.

You will work independently, mentor new staff, manage Azure environments, handle identity and access management, and ensure SLAs are met.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience in technical support for Microsoft and cloud identities.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, and licensing.
• Experience with CSP programs, subscriptions, and cloud billing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical and licensing support for Microsoft cloud solutions with high customer satisfaction.
• Provide expert support for Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, Entra ID).
• Troubleshoot IAM issues (authentication, SSO, MFA, provisioning, directory sync).
• Manage Azure environments (subscription admin, IaaS, networking, VPN, monitoring).
• Be primary contact for Microsoft 365, Azure, and CSP inquiries; meet SLAs.
• Mentor new staff and work independently; document root causes and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with Microsoft, partners, and internal teams to resolve complex challenges.
• Stay current on Microsoft cloud tech and licensing; participate in certification programs.
• Adapt to rotating shifts and changing business/customer needs.

Position Overview:

The Senior Cloud Technical Specialist is responsible for delivering advanced technical and licensing support for Microsoft cloud solutions, with a focus on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, and Azure services. This role serves as a trusted advisor to partners and customers, providing expert troubleshooting, incident resolution, and operational guidance to ensure optimal cloud performance and user experience. The position requires strong expertise in identity and access management, cloud infrastructure administration, and Microsoft licensing programs.

What you’ll do as Senior Cloud Technical Specialist:

Employees employed in the role of Senior Cloud Technical Specialist shall be required to apply their independent mind and demonstrate intellectual abilities in their decision-making.

• Deliver exceptional technical and licensing support for Microsoft cloud solutions, ensuring a high-quality customer experience for partners and end customers.
• Provide expert support for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Troubleshoot and resolve identity and access management issues related to authentication, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), user provisioning, and directory synchronization.
• Manage and support Microsoft Azure environments, including subscription administration, virtual machine (IaaS) management, network configuration, VPN gateways, availability sets, monitoring, and resource consumption reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for technical and licensing inquiries related to Microsoft 365, Azure, and Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) offerings.
• Ensure timely resolution of support requests while consistently meeting established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Need to be able to work independently and provide guidance to new staff on the team.
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix, and document problems, and implement preventive measures.
• Collaborate with Microsoft, partners, and internal teams to collaborate and resolve complex technical challenges when necessary.
• Conduct technical consultations and provide day-to-day operational support to customer administrators and IT teams.
• Stay current on Microsoft cloud technologies, licensing programs, and industry trends through continuous learning and certification programs.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work across rotating shifts and effectively adapt to changing business and customer requirements.

What you will bring to the team:

• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Azure infrastructure, and cloud identity solutions.
• Candidates with Microsoft certifications will be preferred.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft licensing models, CSP programs, subscriptions, and cloud consumption billing.
• Experience troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, networking, authentication, and end-user productivity services.
• Excellent customer service, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Service-Now.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced support environment while maintaining a customer-first approach.

• Minimum 4-5 years experience in technical support for Microsoft and other cloud Identities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of cloud solutions and subscription management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
