Job summary

ICE Consulting - Managed IT & Cybersecurity for Life Sciences in Lahore is seeking a Senior Cloud Administrator capable of working independently and within a team to manage cloud environments across AWS and Azure, as well as on‑premise to cloud migrations.

You will handle day‑to‑day operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and configuration of cloud resources, with strong scripting and virtualization experience.

Qualifications

• Proficient with AWS administration including IAM, EC2, S3, VPC.
• Proficient with Azure and M365 administration (Entra ID, RBAC, PIM).
• Experience with on-prem to cloud migrations and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Familiar with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and NAS/SAN technologies.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or shell.

Responsibilities

• Administer Cloud environments on AWS and Azure.
• Handle day-to-day operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Develop automation and configuration workflows.
• Interact with clients as a technical lead when needed.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Administrator who can provide solutions and be able to work independently and a good team player.

• Responsible for administering Cloud, Azure & AWS on a mixed production environment
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and configuration of Cloud environments

Requirements

• Proficient with Amazon Web Service (AWS) administration (AWS SSO, IAM, EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, WAF, ACM, SMS)
• Proficient with Microsoft Azure and M365 administration (Microsoft Entra ID/SSO, RBAC & PIM, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Functions, Virtual Networks, Azure WAF
• Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations or IT transformations and working with Containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
• NFS/SAMBA, Azure Files, GFS2, NIS/Autofs, puppet/automation tools, GIT/JIRA/Confluence
• Extensive experience with virtualization: VMware-ESXi/Hyper-V/XEN/KVM
• Proficiency and experience with NAS/SAN and iSCSI/NFS/CIFS technologies is required
• Experience with open-source packages monitoring tools like CheckMK, Cacti, PRTG, OSSIM, GANGRILLA
• Solid knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP, LDAP/NIS, SMTP and SNMP
• Proven experience in one of programming languages: Python/Perl, PowerShell and Shell Scripting, with experience implementing automation using shell scripting and other related tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as he/she will be interacting with clients on a regular basis
• Experience serving as technical lead a definite plus
