Job summary

Scarriff Engineering & Design Ltd. is seeking an experienced CAD Designer for a predominantly work-from-home role with occasional office/client-site attendance.

The position requires strong 2D/3D CAD skills, primarily using SolidWorks, and a minimum of five years in production, manufacturing, or engineering environments. You will produce detailed drawings and models from client requirements, manage multiple projects, and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ CAD experience in a production, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
• Strong proficiency in both 2D and 3D CAD software.
• Experience using SolidWorks.
• Full driving licence and own transport.
• Experience working across multiple industries and sectors.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models.
• Prepare manufacturing, fabrication, assembly and production drawings.
• Interpret engineering specifications, sketches and client requirements.
• Revise and update drawings throughout project lifecycles.
• Ensure all drawings meet project requirements and relevant standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and drawing records.
