Job summary

NODSOL CANADA INC. is seeking a Full-Time AutoCAD Drafter & Designer to join its internal production team in Pakistan, working remotely.

You will prepare and revise 2D CAD drawings used for Ontario building permit applications, creating floor plans, elevations, sections, and site plans from measurements and markups. The role requires strong AutoCAD 2D skills, an understanding of architectural drafting, and the ability to read complex plans.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and able to produce clean, accurate drawings.
• Knowledge of architectural drafting and construction drawings.
• Ability to read floor plans, elevations, sections and site plans.
• Familiar with dimensions, scales, layers, lineweights, annotations and blocks.
• Capable of working from hand sketches, measurements and marked-up PDFs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain drawing standards.
• Basic understanding of residential construction.
• Good English communication and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare professional 2D AutoCAD drawings from site measurements and references.
• Create floor plans, elevations, sections, roof and site plans, and permit drawings.
• Convert field measurements into accurate CAD drawings and revise as needed.
• Maintain drawing standards, layers, dimensions, and templates.
• Produce existing-condition and proposed-condition drawings for Ontario permits.
• Work on residential projects and related building permit documentation.
