Dubizzle Labs is expanding its Pakistan office and seeks an 8+ year backend engineer with Python expertise to build world-class products for our hyper-growth across 10 countries. You will lead design and delivery of REST-based APIs, mentor peers, and shape technical vision within your stream.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Python experience with modern frameworks.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Exposure to Kubernetes & Docker is a plus.
• Experience with high-traffic web products and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, asynchronous programming, caching, logging and security.

Responsibilities

• Hit the ground running by learning the codebase and tech stack quickly.
• Lead planning sessions for new features and release strategies.
• Write and maintain high-quality code following standards.
• Create unit tests and ensure test coverage.
• Review major pull requests and set programming standards.
• Architect solutions within your stream and mentor peers.
