Job summary

Dubizzle Labs in Karachi is seeking an experienced back-end software engineer to help scale our hyper-growth platforms across 10 countries. You will own significant components, mentor peers, and drive reliability and performance improvements.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of backend dev experience, strong Python, hands-on with AWS, Kubernetes and Docker, and a solid grasp of REST APIs and SOA. You will work in a fast-paced, multinational team and shape our technical vision.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of back-end software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Gather up-to-date and in-depth understanding of the code base and technologies stack.
• Lead planning sessions around new product features and release strategies.
• Write and maintain REST based APIs and expose SOA architecture.
• Mentor peers and review major pull requests.
• Develop reliable and scalable backend systems with a focus on performance.
