Dubizzle Labs in Pakistan is expanding its Karachi engineering team to build world-class backend services. You will own REST-based APIs, mentor engineers, review code, and drive reliability and scale across markets.

The role emphasizes asynchronous patterns, distributed systems, and high-quality engineering practices. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of backend experience, strong Python, and hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker knowledge.

Formación

• 8+ years of backend software engineering experience with Python preferred.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and AWS preferred.
• Kubernetes & Docker experience is highly valued.
• Experience with high-traffic, large-scale web products and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of SOA, design patterns, caching (Memcached) and testing methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Hit the ground running to understand the codebase and tech stack quickly.
• Lead planning sessions for new features and release strategies.
• Write and maintain high-quality code following best practices.
• Develop REST-based APIs and contribute to SOA architecture.
• Mentor peers, review major pull requests, and maintain code quality.
• Improve reliability and performance of core platforms and services.
• Collaborate across teams to shape technical direction.
