Hazelsoft in Lahore is seeking a software engineer to build AI-powered features for clients, including retrieval, tool use, structured extraction and agents. Most projects start as quick pilots and scale to production, putting your work in front of real users.

You’ll collaborate with clients to turn ideas into testable use cases, design evaluation sets, and measure accuracy, cost and latency before each release; mentorship is part of the role, with opportunities for growth and a clear career

Competenze

• 4+ years of software engineering experience in production.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs beyond a demo.
• Experience with vector search and evaluation.
• Proficient in SQL, REST APIs, and cloud deployment (AWS/Azure).
• Clear written English for client communications.

You’ll join the team that builds AI features for our clients: assistants, document processing and agents that work inside existing business systems. Most projects start as a short pilot and move to production once the numbers hold up, so your work ends up in front of real users.

What you’ll do

• Build and ship LLM-based features: retrieval, tool use, structured extraction and agents
• Design evaluation sets and measure accuracy, cost and latency before every release
• Connect AI features to client systems through APIs, queues and webhooks
• Work with clients to turn a loose idea into a use case you can test
• Mentor engineers in our internal AI programme

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of software engineering, with Python or TypeScript in production
• Hands-on work with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic or similar) beyond a demo
• Experience with vector search, prompt design and evaluation
• Comfortable with SQL, REST APIs and cloud deployment on AWS or Azure
• Clear written English: you will write for clients
