Job summary

NKU Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking an hands-on AI Product Engineer in Lahore to identify missed opportunities in local and global markets and convert them into AI-powered solutions. You will validate ideas, build prototypes or MVPs, and shepherd them to production with specialist teams, shaping the AI roadmap and product vision for clients in Pakistan, the region, and globally.

You will evaluate ideas through research and development, ensuring clear understanding before building.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of relevant AI/software experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying AI products from prototype to production.
• Strong logical, analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and cybersecurity concepts (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Research local and global technology and cybersecurity markets for unmet needs and high-value AI opportunities.
• Generate and evaluate new ideas, test feasibility, market fit and technical approach via R&D.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear requirements and MVP concepts.
• Build AI-powered prototypes, MVPs, plugins and workflows with LLM APIs and automation tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers and domain experts to mature prototypes into production solutions.
• Define and lead the AI roadmap, prioritizing experimentation and delivery.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and models and recommend adoption.
• Present ideas and progress to leadership, clients and technical teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for a hands‑on AI Product Engineer who can spot gaps in the local and global technology markets and turn them into working AI‑powered solutions. This is a technical generalist role for someone with exceptional logical and analytical thinking who can validate an idea, build a prototype or MVP, and take it to production with specialist teams.

You will work closely with the leadership team, helping shape the AI roadmap and product vision. You will evaluate new ideas through research and development, ensuring each is correctly understood before it moves to build. You will own them from concept through to delivery for clients in Pakistan, the region and globally.

Key Responsibilities

• Research local and global technology and cybersecurity markets to identify unmet needs and high‑value opportunities for AI‑based solutions
• Generate and evaluate new ideas, understanding their intent and context, and test feasibility, market fit and technical approach through research and development
• Translate ambiguous problem statements into clear requirements and product concepts, and validate ideas quickly through proof‑of‑concept builds
• Build AI‑powered prototypes, MVPs, plugins, workflows and integrations hands‑on using LLM APIs, AI agents and automation tools
• Work with engineers, designers and domain experts to turn validated prototypes into production‑quality solutions
• Define and lead the AI roadmap, setting priorities for experimentation and delivery
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and models, and recommend what to adopt
• Present ideas, findings and progress clearly to leadership, clients and technical teams

Requirements

• 3-6 years of relevant experience in AI, software engineering, product engineering or a related technical field
• Proven hands‑on experience building and deploying AI products or LLM‑powered solutions, from prototype through to production
• Exceptional logical, analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with a research and development mindset and the ability to identify gaps in the technology market
• Strong awareness of the local (Pakistan and regional) and global technology landscape, trends and customer needs
• Strong product thinking: you help decide what to build, not just how to build it
• Hands‑on experience with LLM APIs, AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering and automation tools (e.g. LangChain)
• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript, and familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
• Understanding of cybersecurity concepts (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to executives, clients and technical teams

Strong ownership and initiative, with the ability to learn new AI tools quickly and work independently in ambiguous environments
