Job summary

Descon, Head Office Lahore, is seeking a finance professional with ACCA or MBA Finance and 3–5 years of experience to join our Head Office in Lahore.

You will maintain financial records, oversee supplier payments, manage SAP-based invoicing, and assist budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for projects. This role supports audits, reviews trial balances, and ensures compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• ACCA or MBA in Finance required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records including invoices, receipts, and general ledger entries.
• Process payments to suppliers; manage customer invoices in SAP.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for projects.
• Ensure transactions comply with accounting standards and company policies.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Review monthly trial balance and correct entries.
• Close monthly project financials and ensure accurate cost matching.
• Ensure proper coding of SAP transactions and postings in FICO.
• Review support documents before advancing payments and issuing further advances.
• Prepare monthly project budgeting and forecast reports.
• Assist BPF with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.
• Maintain offshore entry records for true-spirit recording.
• Prepare direct and indirect cash flows for project reporting.

Qualification: ACCA / MBA Finance

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience

Location: Head Office Lahore

Responsibilities

• Make sure that financial records are maintained accurately including invoices, receipts, employee adjustments and general ledger entries.
• Oversee and process payments to suppliers, manage customer invoices in SAP and maintain invoicing record for legal compliance.
• Assist BPF with financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of reports.
• Ensure all financial transactions comply with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Review trial balance on monthly basis and make corrections of wrong entries.
• While closing the monthly financials of the project make sure that costs are matched with PS.
• The efficiency of this position is critical for correct coding of transactions in SAP and ensure correct / rectify the posting of data in FICO.
• Checking of supporting documents before adjustment of advances and issuing further advance.
• Prepare study on monthly basis for projects with zero error.
• Prepare budgeting and forecast reports according to the management reporting requirement.
• To assist BPF Manage month end, quarterly and annual reports
• To maintain record of offshore entries and make sure that they are recorded in true spirit.
• Prepare direct and Indirect cash flows of the project for reporting.
