Job summary

Murkez Technologies is seeking a Senior Accountant to own general ledger accounting, intercompany transactions, and multi-entity consolidation for a US-based construction business. You will lead month-end close with Sage Intacct expertise and support the migration from QuickBooks Online to Sage Intacct.

Ideal candidates bring at least 4 years of progressive accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, and hands-on experience with consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/CPA/CA/ICMA preferred.
• Minimum 4 years progressive accounting experience; 2+ years in senior/general ledger role.
• Hands-on Sage Intacct experience, especially GL, multi-entity, consolidation.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close checklist: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations.
• Maintain chart of accounts, dimensions, job/cost codes in Sage Intacct.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations; resolve reconciling items.
