Job summary

Faraz & Brothers is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee landed costs, inventory valuation, and supplier reconciliations for heavy machinery, automotive parts, and industrial supplies.

You will record freight, duties, customs clearance, and local logistics, track SKU-level stock movements, and perform unit- and deal-wise margin analyses.

Proficiency in Excel (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and ERP systems (QuickBooks or Zoho Books) is essential, along with strong accuracy and integrity.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of practical accounting experience in Heavy Machinery, Automotive, Import/Export, or Industrial Supply sectors.
• Advanced Excel proficiency, including SUMIFS, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and dynamic running balance calculations.
• Practical working knowledge of accounting ERP systems such as QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and record full landed costs for imported machinery and spare parts, including customs clearance, freight, duties, and local logistics.
• Track multi-category stock movements, manage SKU-level inventory valuations, and perform routine physical audit reconciliations.
• Maintain running balances and perform timely reconciliations for foreign suppliers, clearing agents, and local buyers.
• Conduct unit-wise and deal-wise profit margin calculations across machinery sales and inventory distribution.
• Manage daily cash flow, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
