Job summary

GlobalProcure in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking an Experienced Mason for a contract role. You will construct, repair, and maintain structures using brick, stone, concrete blocks, and related materials.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of masonry experience, reads blueprints, and can work independently or with a team. The position offers a monthly salary and visa/ticket support. Overtime work may be required, and safety standards must be followed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Mason experience.
• Strong knowledge of masonry tools and equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints or drawings.
• Physically fit for lifting heavy materials and working at heights.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Layout surfaces according to blueprints or drawings.
• Cut bricks, stones or blocks to required size using hand tools or machinery.
• Mix mortar and spread it onto surfaces using trowels.
• Lay bricks or other materials in horizontal rows on top of one another using mortar.
• Repair cracks and holes in existing structures using proper materials and techniques.
• Clean excess mortar from brickwork or joints using hand or power tools.
• Ensure that all work meets safety regulations and quality standards.
