Job summary

BICPHS in Karachi is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and related disorders in school-aged children within an evidence-based preventive health framework.

You will conduct screenings, create individualized therapy plans, and provide direct therapy while coordinating with teachers, families, and health professionals to integrate communication goals into classroom activities and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current professional licensure/registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility according to local regulations).
• Experience in assessing and intervening for speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adolescents.
• Experience working in school or pediatric settings, ideally within multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to develop individualized therapy plans and track outcomes using evidence-based methods.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and related disorders in school-aged children.
• Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and provide direct therapy sessions.
• Monitor student progress and document outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, families, and other health professionals to integrate goals into classrooms and wellness plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in multidisciplinary discussions.
