Mashreq in Karachi seeks a Senior Manager – Sanctions Compliance to lead governance and oversight within the Sanctions and FI Compliance department across the bank’s global operations. The role drives compliance governance standards, regulatory reporting, and risk-based decision making, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Strong leadership and stakeholder management are essential for success in this senior position.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
Advanced degree or professional certifications (ICA, CAMS, CRCM, CCEP) preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in compliance, governance or risk management within financial services.
Proven experience with global or regional oversight responsibilities.

Mansioni

Oversee and maintain a comprehensive compliance governance framework that supports effective risk management and regulatory adherence.
Lead enterprise-wide compliance oversight programs, including thematic reviews, control testing, and risk assessments.
Oversee the preparation and delivery of high-quality regulatory and internal reports across jurisdictions and business lines.
Manage governance-related committees, including scheduling agendas, materials, minutes and action tracking.
Perform quality control testing and maintain governance reporting metrics and issue tracking.
Develop dashboards and metrics to track compliance performance and emerging risks.
