Sales Manager (Mechanical / HVAC / Fire Fighting)
Bachelors Degree or Global Equivalent in Engineering/Technical Procurement
We are urgently hiring four Sales Managers — two for Karachi, one for Lahore, and one for Islamabad — for an Authorized Distributors & Stockiest of HVAC, Plumbing & Fire Fighting Products. Candidates should have a Business Management Degree or related professional qualification.
Job Description
- Manage Sales Engineer Team and train staff
- Specify products in commercial/residential projects
- Develop Product Marketing Channels with Retail and Project segments
- Achieve product approval with Consultants/Contractors
- Monitor market requirements and competitor activities, and provide feedback for projects
- Possess technical knowledge of HVAC / Plumbing & Fire Fighting Products
- Understand competitor situations, sales channels, and pricing structures
- Support marketing efforts with Project Consultants
- Engage in project specification activities
- Define and implement strategies to meet business and divisional targets
- Forecast sales based on market analysis
- Grow sales and profitability by acquiring new customers
- Maintain division profitability and efficiency through resource optimization
- Establish strategic partnerships with key industry players
- Develop new sales strategies, including campaigns, pricing, and service delivery
- Organize promotional campaigns to increase market awareness
- Leverage network to introduce potential clients
- Analyze customer issues to identify trends and implement mitigation plans
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers
- Ensure timely payment collection
- Analyze financial performance periodically and report actual vs. targets, taking corrective actions
- Participate actively in organizational initiatives and represent the function effectively
Job Specification
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering/Technical Procurement with a specialization in marketing; experience from NED University is appreciated
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience
- Strong technical knowledge of the relevant product categories
- Good understanding of the local market dynamics
- Knowledge of retail trading mechanics is a plus
