Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration of Autosphere processes to an in-house RPA platform.
• Inventory, assess, and prioritize automation processes for migration.
• Re-engineer processes, rebuild bots, test, manage cutover, and decommission legacy bots.
• Identify, analyze, and document processes suitable for RPA and AI-driven automation.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy automation with major platforms (Power Automate, UiPath, Autosphere, etc.).
• Collaborate with business and IT to gather requirements and define workflows.
• Map as‑is processes, identify opportunities, design to‑be workflows.
• Develop and integrate AI agents to improve productivity across teams.
• Work with datasets for data prep, model training, validation, optimization, and evaluation.
• Integrate AI models with automation workflows and enterprise systems.
• Manage day-to-day RPA operations: orchestration, scheduling, credential management, monitoring, logging, and infra capacity.
• Maintain and monitor deployed bots for reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance automation based on user feedback and metrics.
• Document RPA processes, AI/ML workflows, and integrations.

Job Title: Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Engineer

Position Summary

The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and operating enterprise automation solutions, with a key focus on migrating existing Autosphere automation processes to an in-house RPA platform.

The role will work closely with business, IT, and data teams to transform manual and semi-automated processes into reliable, secure, scalable, and intelligent end-to-end workflows. The engineer will also support the integration of AI agents and intelligent automation capabilities to improve productivity across business functions.

The primary focus during the first 12 months will be to re-platform existing Autosphere processes in-house with no loss of business coverage, stabilize automation operations, and establish appropriate standards, monitoring, and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end migration of existing Autosphere processes to an in-house RPA platform.
• Inventory, assess, and prioritize existing automation processes for migration.
• Re-engineer processes where beneficial, rebuild bots, perform testing, manage cutover, and decommission legacy bots.
• Identify, analyze, and document business processes suitable for RPA and AI-driven automation.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, n8n, UiPath, Autosphere, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or equivalent platforms.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and define automation workflows.
• Map existing as-is processes, identify automation opportunities, and design optimized to-be workflows.
• Develop and integrate AI agents to improve productivity across teams and business functions.
• Work with datasets to support data preparation, model training, validation, optimization, and performance evaluation.
• Integrate AI models and agents with automation workflows and enterprise systems to create intelligent end-to-end solutions.
• Manage day-to-day RPA operations, including orchestration, scheduling, credential management, monitoring, logging, and infrastructure capacity.
• Maintain and monitor deployed bots to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and enhance existing automation solutions based on user feedback and performance metrics.
• Document RPA processes, AI/ML workflows, system integrations, and operational procedures.
• Ensure automation and AI solutions comply with information security, data privacy, governance, compliance, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive digital transformation and increase the adoption of automation and AI solutions.
• Continuously evaluate emerging RPA, workflow automation, and agentic AI technologies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure bots and AI agents operate only within approved systems, access levels, information-security controls, and data-privacy requirements.

Must Have

• 3–5 years of hands‑on production RPA experience.
• Proven experience designing, developing, deploying, and operating RPA bots end‑to‑end in production environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power Automate.
• Hands‑on experience with n8n.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major RPA platform such as UiPath, Autosphere, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in RPA bot operations and production support.
• Hands‑on experience with bot orchestration and scheduling.
• Experience with credential management and secure bot access.
• Experience with bot monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and incident handling.
• Strong process analysis and process mapping skills, including mapping as‑is processes and designing to‑be workflows.

• Experience gathering requirements and collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills covering automation processes, workflows, integrations, and operational procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across business and technical audiences.
• Understanding of information security, data privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements, particularly within financial‑services environments.

Good to Have

• Experience migrating automation processes from one RPA platform to another, particularly Autosphere migration.
• Experience working within banking, fintech, or telecom environments.
• Experience developing or integrating AI agents into enterprise automation workflows.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or similar agentic AI frameworks.
• Understanding of Machine Learning fundamentals, including data preparation, model training, validation, optimization, and performance evaluation.
• Experience with Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), OCR, and Document Understanding.
• Experience with document automation for KYC, customer onboarding, or reconciliation use cases.
• Experience with additional RPA or automation technologies such as Robocorp or OpenRPA.
• Knowledge of core banking systems, payment systems, digital wallets, and banking back‑office processes.
• UiPath Advanced RPA Developer certification or an equivalent RPA/automation platform certification.
