Job summary
Business Solutions & Services (BSS) - USA in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a skilled Red Hat Engineer with 3–5 years of Linux administration experience, strong RHEL expertise, and hands-on OpenShift knowledge.
You will install and maintain RHEL servers, automate with Ansible, manage containers via OpenShift and Kubernetes, support CI/CD with Jenkins, and ensure security and compliance across cloud and on‑prem environments.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on Linux administration experience.
- Strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
- Experience managing Red Hat OpenShift environments.
- Automation, scripting (Bash/YAML), and DevOps practices.
- Networking, storage, and virtualization concepts.
- Experience supporting development, testing, and production environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7/8/9) servers.
- Manage patching, upgrades, system hardening, and performance tuning.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads on Red Hat OpenShift.
- Support containerization using Docker and orchestration via Kubernetes.
- Implement automation using Ansible and manage CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
- Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Nagios or Grafana.
- Support cloud and hybrid environments across major cloud platforms.
- Manage virtualization platforms and support on-prem to cloud migrations.
- Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and documentation standards.
