Job summary

AIO is seeking a Sr. Onboarding Associate to be the first point of contact for new restaurant clients after signup. You will guide them through onboarding, provide training, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Sales, Support, Product, and Software teams to ensure a smooth go-live and long-term success.

You will configure account settings, tailor the platform to each restaurant’s workflows, and help scale onboarding with automation and playbooks while mentoring junior teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Equivalent work experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry may be considered in place of formal education.
• 1-2 years of experience in onboarding, customer success, implementation, or support—preferably within a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
• Prior experience working in or closely with the restaurant or hospitality industry (e.g., as a manager, server, chef, or in tech support for hospitality systems).
• Familiarity with restaurant technology tools such as POS systems, online ordering platforms, inventory or scheduling software is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using CRM or project management tools (e.g., Salesforce, Aircall, Asana).
• Ability to analyse and streamline onboarding processes using automation tools, templates, and conditional logic.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main liaison for new restaurant partners from contract signature through successful platform implementation.
• Conduct onboarding calls and tailored training sessions based on each restaurant's operational model.
• Configure account settings and assist customers in customizing the platform to match their workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Support, Product, and Software teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Track onboarding milestones and proactively follow up to keep clients on schedule for go-live.
• Educate customers on platform best practices and feature utilization to ensure adoption and long-term satisfaction.
• Identify potential risks, gaps, or delays in the onboarding process and implement solutions proactively.
• Provide structured feedback to internal teams to improve onboarding tools, documentation, and customer experience.
