Reservoir Engineer

The Reservoir Engineer is responsible for assisting in the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable products and services to our customers. The role involves consulting with operations groups to support expertise areas, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and communicating findings formally. The Reservoir Engineer actively promotes new technology and service offerings, supports risk management, and applies lessons learned to improve job design and execution. They provide real-time support to operations as required.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide technical support throughout the Sales and Product and Service Delivery process.
2. Assist in developing technical job designs for Project Leaders (PLs).
3. Identify areas where new and cost-effective techniques can be applied.
4. Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
5. Collaborate with Design/Technical Engineers to optimize technical designs.
6. Assist in real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation related to expertise areas.
7. Evaluate technical viability and appraise tenders related to expertise areas.
8. Stay current on new technologies.
9. Maintain customer visibility through participation in professional societies and conferences.
10. Understand competitors’ technical offerings.
11. Participate in external technical societies and communities.
12. Contribute to, write, and review technical publications.
13. Engage with local universities, research organizations, and customer institutes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
