Job summary

Pavago is hiring a hands-on WordPress Developer to build, optimize, and maintain fast, secure WordPress sites for a US client. You’ll work with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and custom themes, focusing on performance, SEO, UX, and conversions.

The role covers landing pages, WooCommerce stores, plugin integrations, security, and ongoing maintenance. This is a fully remote position requiring reliable collaboration with marketing, design, and content teams.

Qualifications

• You have 2+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Strong proficiency with WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar page builders.
• Experience with custom themes and child themes.
• Ability to optimize for speed, Core Web Vitals, and SEO.

Responsibilities

• Build and customize WordPress websites using page builders and custom themes.
• Develop landing pages, blogs, marketing sites, and WooCommerce stores.
• Convert designs from Figma/Adobe XD into responsive WordPress pages.
• Optimize performance, security, and SEO; manage plugins and hosting.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and content teams; deploy changes through staging and production.
