Job summary

AlgGrow Media is seeking a creative Video Editor to join our remote team and transform raw footage into polished, engaging content for digital platforms and marketing campaigns. The role collaborates with creative, production, and marketing teams to develop videos that communicate clear messages, retain audience attention, and support client objectives.

Proficiency with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro is required, along with strong storytelling, color correction, and sound

Qualifications

• Proficiency with video editing software and strong storytelling abilities.
• Understanding of pacing, continuity, and audience-retention techniques.
• Ability to edit for social media reels, long-form content, and branded campaigns.
• Working knowledge of color correction, audio cleanup, captions, and basic motion graphics.
• Experience adapting edits for platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and paid digital campaigns.
• Strong attention to detail, file organization, and deadline management.
• Clear communication and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Review briefs, scripts, footage, audio, graphics, and brand references to plan edits.
• Assemble and refine short-form and long-form video content for social media, campaigns, and branding.
• Apply pacing, transitions, color correction, sound balancing, captions, and platform-specific formatting.
• Collaborate with producers and marketing stakeholders, incorporate feedback, and manage revisions.
• Organize project files, maintain editing standards, and deliver exports within timelines.
