Job summary

A remote accounting firm is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Accountant to support UK-based clients. The ideal candidate must be an ACCA Affiliate with strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and taxation. Key responsibilities include preparing statutory accounts, filing VAT returns, and managing payroll processing. Qualifications

• Proven experience working with UK-based clients or UK accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and taxation.
• Ability to prepare accounts independently from source records.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit statutory accounts from source records.
• Prepare and file VAT returns in compliance with UK regulations.
• Manage payroll processing, including calculations and submissions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.
• Handle bookkeeping and reconciliations (bank, supplier, customer).
