Syscov is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build resilient microservices and high-throughput data pipelines. The role is remote with global scope, allowing work from anywhere including Pakistan.

You will architect and maintain distributed services in Go and Python and drive performance, reliability, and testability across large-scale systems. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of backend experience, strong knowledge of distributed systems, and hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud

Qualifications

• 5+ years backend engineering experience with strong proficiency in Go or Python.
• Solid foundation in distributed systems concepts (CAP theorem, idempotency, consensus, event-driven architecture).
• Hands-on expertise with container orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).
• Obsession with latency budgets, concurrency safety, and system observability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain distributed backend services in Go and Python capable of handling millions of daily events.
• Design fault-tolerant data pipelines using Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis streams for real-time telemetry.
• Optimize complex SQL queries, connection pooling, and multi-tenant database partitioning on PostgreSQL.
• Implement robust automated unit, integration, and load testing pipelines.
