Job summary

Huzzle.com is seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our client teams in a fully remote, independent contractor capacity. You will ensure software quality across web, mobile, and cloud-based apps through manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers.

You will design test plans, execute tests, and help improve QA processes. Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and API testing is valued, along with strong communication in a

Qualifications

• 2+ years in QA or software testing.
• Strong SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum knowledge.
• Experience in manual and automated testing across web, mobile, SaaS.
• Proficiency with QA tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, Jira, Jenkins.
• Familiarity with API testing, databases, cross-browser testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and UAT testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts where applicable.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects.
• Collaborate with engineers to reproduce and fix bugs.
• Participate in sprint planning and release planning.
• Validate new features and bug fixes before deployment.
• Perform API testing and verify backend functionality.
• Test web, mobile, and cloud apps across browsers and devices.
• Monitor performance and usability during testing.
• Support production releases and post-release validation.
