Purely Works is hiring a QA Automation Engineer (Remote) to own the quality of a fintech platform with AI-powered features. You will design test strategies, build automated frameworks with Playwright and TypeScript, and perform API, integration, and security testing.

You will integrate tests into CI/CD using GitHub Actions and collaborate with developers to deliver high-quality releases. The role requires 5+ years of QA experience, strong automation skills, and hands-on use of AI tools to boost

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA experience with strong automation focus.
• Strong TypeScript and Playwright experience (Cypress acceptable).
• Experience with API testing, SQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as k6.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent English communication and client-facing skills.
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve testing productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design and own comprehensive test strategies.
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, TypeScript, and Vitest.
• Perform API, integration, regression, security, and performance testing.
• Validate financial calculations, data imports, and access controls.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Test AI-powered features and financial data integrations.
• Collaborate with the development team and present quality insights to clients.
