Stealth-Mode Marketplace Startup is seeking a Lead AI & Data Platform Engineer to own our AI, data platform, and growth automation infrastructure in a fully remote role.

You will design, build, deploy, measure, and improve production systems across data engineering, event tracking, LLM integrations, and personalization for buyers and sellers. The role requires hands-on architecture and implementation skills and offers broad regional remote work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, data engineering, AI engineering, machine learning engineering, or data platform architecture.
• Strong Python experience.
• Strong SQL experience and ability to design clean, scalable data models.

Responsibilities

• Own AI and data platform, architecture, and growth automation infrastructure.
• Design scalable data models for buyers, sellers, livestreams, auctions, products, orders, and payments.
• Build production data pipelines and dashboards from raw events.
• Define data quality rules, validation checks, and monitoring for data pipelines.
• Collaborate with marketing and product to turn data into actionable insights and personalized experiences.
